Experiences from eHealth in Sweden
Strikersoft will have three senior eHealth staff at the stand to discuss how digitalisation can help healthcare achieve a higher quality using less resources with a greater focus on patient-centred care.
“As eager as we are to learn about the challenges facing healthcare in the UK, we also want to share the experiences from the implementing of eHealth in Sweden", says Fredrik Eriksson, Senior Medical Advisor at Strikersoft. “eHealth is not just about the physical tools. With Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust
Two senior staff from the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust in Truro will join Strikersoft’s stand and demonstrate some of the apps used by medical staff in Cornwall.
“We’re thrilled to have Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust join our stand, not only to showcase some of their best eHealth solutions, but also to take part in discussions about how to improve quality-assurance work in healthcare and how to overcome inherent organisational and personal obstacles when change is needed,” says Tim Bray, VP Strikersoft, who has invited Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust to join the stand.
SwipeCare®
We warmly invite you to test drive SwipeCare® at the Strikersoft stand. SwipeCare® is an iPad-based eHealth tool used by nurses and doctors when examining patients. Healthcare staff use a questionnaire on their tablet, gathering information step by step, and then upload it to the medical records system directly after the examination ends.
SwipeCare® is flexible and can be configured to suit different types of care, including orthopaedics, palliative care and advanced medical care in the home, and is currently used by Praktikertjänst, Sweden's largest private healthcare provider.
“We’ve already presented and discussed SwipeCare® with healthcare staff and senior healthcare officials at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, and we’re excited to hear feedback from the rest of the NHS Trusts during the expo,” says Sara Bern, Technical Lead Manager eHealth at Strikersoft.
