For those of you who missed Almedalen this year, or didn't have time to visit all the interesting seminars, here is a look at what was discussed, and not discussed, in health care.

We brought together Strikersoft's eHealth strategist Ulf Lesley and Nasim Farrokhnia, chairman of the eHealth Medical Association and previously, among others. Operations manager for the emergency department at SÖS, research manager at KRY, and now Nordic responsible for health and medical care at Microsoft.

The quality registries in Sweden are a national treasure. Since the start in the 1970s, data on diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes have been collected and today there are just over 100 national quality registries [1].

Strikersoft and Quality Pharma have entered into a collaboration agreement where Quality Pharma's tools for drug analysis will be an integral part of Strikersoft's healthcare system SwipeCare^®.

Strikersoft has receieved the award "Kista business company of the year" 

At the first network meeting of the year in 2021,  it was announced that Strikersoft received the honorable award  "Networker of the Year" with the following motivation:

 Both the CEO and employees are involved in all activities and collaboration groups in the network.

"Is it ethically justifiable not to use health care data?", asked Daniel Forslund in a debate article this spring. We pick up the question and add all the data that Quantified Self and technology and health-interested patients generate. Is healthcare ready to incorporate this data into its clinical operations?

Strikersoft has been assigned the task of developing the research tool in a long-term study into the sexual health of young people.

The age of the analogue alarm – when users’ safety or security depended wholly on the reliability of telephone lines – has passed. Today, digital alarm services are a well-established market that is growing at pace with the healthcare and security sectors’ progress in upgrading their old alarm systems.

The system integrates physical and digital doctor’s visits to create a seamless care process for the patient, all without increasing the need for administration.

The Commissioner for Innovation and eHealth at Stockholm County Council, Daniel Forslund, set the agenda for the IT i vården dagen conference held on 5 December by calling digital healthcare “the new normal”. In the future, digital pathways will be the natural way for patients to seek healthcare services, regardless of the area.

IT company Strikersoft is set to leverage the experience gained during its development work with Praktikertjänst as it expands its presence in the UK after signing a partnership agreement with Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT).

Strikersoft and Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust have signed a partnership agreement aimed at leveraging a range of health-related IT and mobile application innovations.

The expo is held by NHS England, the government agency managing public healthcare in the UK.

The project "New digitised aided self-help with trauma & stress focus" has had its first Project Reference Group meeting on 9 April and we asked Ulf Sandström, one of the project’s originators, a few questions:

-Reducing the time healthcare professionals spend on administration, so that more time can be spent with patients, is core to our business, says Henric Carlsson, Founder and CEO of Conscriptor.
